Station Tavern
A Young's pub a few steps from the platforms, open from nine in the morning.
Station Tavern is at 2 Station Square, right beside Cambridge railway station. It is run by Young's, occupies the lower level of the Ibis hotel, and has been open since March 2017.
Inside
The main room has an industrial look, with brickwork left bare and ducting on show. A peninsular bar projects into the floor and the kitchen is visible from the seating. The pub also has an outdoor terrace and a function room called The Sidings, which can be hired for parties and corporate events.
Food and drink
The pub's own website describes a seasonal British menu with brunch, sandwiches and pub classics, and Sunday roasts are a feature. All the cask ales come from Young's. The bar also stocks craft beers and a list of signature cocktails, with a separate winter cocktail menu in the colder months. A quiz night is held on Sundays.
