Fancett's is an independent bistro at 96a Mill Road, on Mill Road. It describes itself as small, relaxed, personal and intimate, with French-influenced cooking built on seasonal menus and the best available produce.
The format
Meals are prix fixe, at both lunch and dinner. Menu prices are £32 for two courses or £38 for three at lunch, and £48 for two courses or £62 for three at dinner. Lunch is served from Wednesday to Saturday, and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, so the restaurant is shut on Sunday and Monday. The site also offers private dining and gift vouchers.
Recognition
The restaurant says on its own site that it is proud to be recommended in the Michelin Guide for 2026 and in the Good Food Guide for 2025. These are the restaurant's own statements, and the entry is a recommendation, not a star rating.
