Live & Let Live
A one-bar corner local off Mill Road, with six handpumps and a snug at the back.
Live & Let Live sits on the corner of Mawson Road, at number 40, close to Mill Road. Its one bar has a snug behind it, and a wood-burning stove in the grate gives the room its warmth. Wood panelling and brewery memorabilia complete the old-fashioned look.
Beer and cider
Six handpumps and around ten taps in total serve the room, and one of the beers is always dark. Oakham Citra is the regular cask beer, often joined by something from Nethergate. Six still ciders are stocked too, some of them real cider. The Cambridge & District branch of CAMRA named it Most Improved City Pub for 2025 and City Community Pub for 2026.
Practical notes
A cat lives on the premises and tends to wander out when the bar is quiet. Cycle racks stand on the road outside, and OpenStreetMap records wheelchair access. The pub's only web presence is a social-media page, which was not consulted, so opening hours and a phone number are not listed here; check before you go.
