The Mill
A listed riverside pub with real ales on the banks of the Cam.
The Mill sits on the grassy bank of the Cam at 14 Mill Lane, looking across the river to Laundress Green. The pub is Young's, and its website describes the building as nineteenth century. It is a Grade II listed building, in the Historic England list under entry 1126140.
Beer, food and the riverside
The pub's own pitch is real ale: it says it has won multiple CAMRA awards. In summer the seating beside the millpond is the draw, and in winter the pub points to its mulled wine. Food service runs 12:00 to 20:00 Monday to Saturday and 12:00 to 17:00 on Sunday, with Sunday roasts and a seasonal menu, and the website promotes cocktails, Christmas bookings and big-screen rugby fixtures. Dogs are welcome.
