Hobbsons Cambridge occupies 15 Trinity Street, in the middle of the colleges. The restaurant's website says it is now fully rebranded as Hobbsons Cambridge and sits just steps from Trinity College and the historic colleges.

The restaurant describes itself as a Best of British restaurant specialising in home crafted pies. It names a haslet sausage roll as a famous item, and it also serves a British afternoon tea made with Fortnum & Mason teas. The Cambridge restaurant is the sister of a Hobbsons in Lincoln, on Steep Hill; the website presents the two together as Restaurant and Pie Shop.

The website gives kitchen opening times. The kitchen is closed on Monday and Tuesday, and open from 11:30 to 22:00 Wednesday to Saturday. On Sunday it is open from 11:30 until 7pm. The weekday hours above are those kitchen times.
